Dokimasia is a free trivia and revision site operated by Paris Paraskevas, Larissa, Greece ("we"). By using it you accept these terms. They are short; please do read them.
The service
Quizzes, a daily examination, optional accounts, groups, friends and leaderboards — provided as-is, free of charge, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy or fitness for any purpose. Question content is written with care but may contain errors; corrections are welcome at the contact address below.
Accounts
Accounts are pseudonymous: a username and a password, with an email address optional — or sign in with Google. Older accounts may still use their sync code. Anyone holding your password or sync code controls the account; keep them private. A lost password can be reset through a verified email; with no verified email, no Google link and no sync code, a lost password means a lost account we cannot restore. You can export or delete your data at any time from the Account page.
Names, aliases and conduct
Display names and group names are visible to people you share codes with; if you choose to publish results, your chosen name or alias appears on the public leaderboard. Names that are offensive, misleading or impersonate others may be changed or removed, and abusive accounts (including attempts to manipulate boards) may be deleted, without notice.
Intellectual property
The site's design, text and question banks are © the operator. Flag images reproduce national flags, which are in the public domain. You may share links and results freely; please don't scrape or republish the banks wholesale.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for damages arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes & law
These terms may change as the site grows; the current version always lives at this address. They are governed by the laws of Greece, without affecting your statutory rights. Privacy is covered separately in the privacy notice.
